Touchstorm Makes Two Significant C-Level Announcements

Alan Verdun and Ajoy Thomas

Touchstorm hires sales and marketing guru for new Chief Growth Officer / CRO role and promotes another to role of Chief Technology Officer.

Touchstorm — the tech-enabled services company that builds video audiences for the world’s largest brands — has promoted Ajoy Thomas to Chief Technology Officer, and hired sales and marketing expert Alan Verdun for the newly created role of Chief Growth Officer / CRO.

“I am thrilled that Alan has joined our team,” said Touchstorm CEO Alison Provost. “He shares our values and our focus on innovation, and he has shown himself to be an extraordinary leader throughout his career and has an enviable track record to prove it,” Provost added. “In addition, I couldn’t be more proud that Ajoy has grown so exponentially with us, that when we began looking for a CTO, the best candidate came from within our own ranks.”

“I’m happy to join this fast moving, deeply inventive and entrepreneurial company,” said Verdun, a 22-year vet of News America Marketing. “And I’m excited to translate my experiences in building brand awareness, increasing sales, and driving trial to not only Touchstorm services and our VideoAmigo SaaS platform, but for our global clients, as well.” Based in New York, Verdun joined Touchstorm in September.

In other C-level news, Thomas was promoted earlier this year to Chief Technology Officer for Touchstorm and VideoAmigo. This rise follows eight years of increasing leadership across the company starting first at sister shopper-marketing agency PowerPact before moving to Touchstorm. Thomas explains, “From the vantage point of my various roles over the years, I have been able to see where this company is headed and participate in that. Now in this new role, I’m able to balance my passion for building something with meaning and combine it with my process and system-architecture skills to set us on a very clear path.”
